How do I start a rental?

To start a rental, select the tool you need, choose a weekly or monthly rental period, and select an available start date at least 7 days in advance. Complete checkout and follow the identity verification step to finalize your order.

Can I cancel or extend my rental?

Yes. Rentals may be canceled up to 24 hours before the scheduled start date.
If you need more time, rentals can be extended on a weekly or monthly basis, subject to availability. Contact support as soon as possible to arrange an extension.

When will I be charged?

Payment authorization occurs at checkout.
Rental charges are finalized once your rental item ships. Any applicable add-ons (such as extra batteries or chargers) are included at that time.

Is a deposit required?

Toolie Rentals does not require a traditional cash security deposit.

Instead, all rental orders require identity verification through our partner, Trust Swiftly. This allows us to keep upfront costs low while protecting our tools—without placing large holds or deposits on your card.

How does return shipping work?

Each rental includes a prepaid return shipping label inside the package.
Once your rental period ends, simply pack the tool securely and ship it back within 48 hours.

If the return label is lost or damaged, no problem—a replacement label is emailed to you automatically.

What if a tool breaks or is damaged?

Normal wear is expected. However, renters are responsible for loss, misuse, or damage beyond normal wear and tear.

If damage occurs, repair or replacement costs may apply. Please contact support immediately if an issue arises during your rental.

WHAT HAPPENS IF A TOOL IS NOT RETURNED?

If a rented tool is not returned or cannot be recovered, Toolie Rentals may charge the payment method on file for the replacement cost or applicable fees.
Identity verification is used to help prevent loss while keeping upfront rental costs affordable for customers.

RENTAL PROCESS & TOOLS

Do the tools come with batteries and chargers?

Yes. Every rental order includes one battery and one charger unless otherwise specified.

If multiple tools are rented under the same order, one shared battery and charger are included by default. Additional batteries or chargers may be added for an extra fee.

Open-box purchases do not include batteries or chargers unless explicitly stated.

Can I rent multiple tools at once?

Absolutely. You may rent multiple tools in a single order or choose one of our bundled combo sets for added convenience.

Are the tools new?

Our tools are professionally maintained, inspected, and tested after every rental to ensure reliable performance. While not always brand new, all tools meet strict operational standards before shipping.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Do you offer local pickup or delivery?

Yes. Local pickup and delivery are available in Miami, and we also ship rentals nationwide.

How long does shipping take?

Rental orders ship within 3–5 business days.
Transit time depends on carrier estimates (typically FedEx Ground), which usually range from 2–5 business days after shipment.

To avoid conflicts with delivery timing, rentals must be booked at least 7 days in advance.

If you need a rental sooner, contact support and we’ll do our best to assist.

Do I need to pay for return shipping?

No. Return shipping is included with your rental via a prepaid return label.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit and debit cards through secure payment processors.

Why is identity verification required?

Identity verification helps us keep rental pricing fair and accessible without requiring large upfront deposits.

All rental orders are verified through Trust Swiftly, a secure third-party identity verification platform.

CARE & RESPONSIBILITY

Do I need to clean the tools before returning them?

Light dirt and normal wear are expected. Tools should be returned in similar working condition as received.

Excessive debris, damage, or neglect may result in cleaning or service fees. it is highly recommended that tools are lightly wiped down to avoid any unwanted charges.

What if a tool stops working during my rental?

All tools are inspected before shipping. If a tool fails under normal use, contact support immediately.
We may arrange a replacement or resolution depending on availability and circumstances.

Do you offer long-term rentals?

Yes. Rentals can be extended weekly or monthly, often at discounted rates for longer durations.

Can I buy the tool after renting it?

Rental items themselves are not sold.

However, Toolie Rentals offers open-box tools for purchase separately. These are distinct listings and may differ from rental inventory.
